I'm a wife, homeschooling mom, and portrait photographer serving families throughout Middle Tennessee. My photography journey began while creating imaginative portraits of my son, transforming ordinary afternoons into magical adventures through my camera. Those moments sparked a love for storytelling that continues to inspire my work today.
I'm naturally quiet and a bit introverted, and I've found that's one of my greatest strengths as a photographer. I love slowing down, noticing the little moments, and creating a relaxed experience where families can simply enjoy being together. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me reading fantasy novels, exploring the outdoors with my family, or admiring a beautiful Tennessee sunset.

I. Before Your Session
From the moment you book, I'm here to make the planning process simple and enjoyable. We'll discuss your vision, choose the perfect location, and I'll provide guidance on styling, wardrobe, and everything you need to feel prepared and excited, knowing every detail has been thoughtfully planned.
II. During Your Session
Your session is designed to feel relaxed, natural, and enjoyable from beginning to end. Rather than focusing on stiff poses, I'll gently guide you while encouraging genuine laughter, connection, and authentic moments. As we wander through the beautiful scenery of South 40 Farm during golden hour, we'll create vibrant, timeless images that tell your story in a way that feels effortless and true to you.
III. After Your Session
After your session, I'll carefully hand-select and professionally edit the images that best tell your story, bringing each one to life with my signature vibrant and timeless style. Within approximately 2–3 weeks (Storybook Session may require longer), you'll receive a beautifully curated online gallery of high-resolution images to download, share, and enjoy for years to come.

Where are you located and do you travel?
I am located in Spring Hill, TN which is less than an hour south of Nashville. All of my sessions typically take place in or around Franklin, Spring Hill, or Columbia, TN.
How many images will I receive?
Each Signature Session includes a carefully curated gallery of approximately 20 or more professionally edited images.
Rather than limiting your memories to a small selection, I choose the strongest photographs that tell the complete story of your session.
Do you provide RAW images?
To ensure every photograph reflects the quality and artistic style of Lena Watson Photography, RAW or unedited images are not delivered.
What happens if it rains?
We'll happily reschedule for the next available date with beautiful weather.
What should we wear?
I am happy to help you with any styling after booking to help coordinate outfits that photograph beautifully.
How do we book?
A signed contract and non-refundable retainer reserve your date.
